	In 1986, eight women established Dunbar Sachs Appell, the largest all woman law firm in Canada. At that time, the partners had similar goals and a common approach to the practice of law to ensure a balance between their professional and personal lives. The firm’s name has undergone several changes over the years as four former partners are now judges.		Dickson MacGregor Appell LLP is now a nine partner family and estates firm located in mid-town Toronto. The office is west of Yonge Street, opposite the Summerhill Subway station. The partners at Dickson MacGregor Appell LLP provide legal services during flexible hours and in an atmosphere of professionalism and responsiveness to client needs. The partners of Dickson MacGregor Appell LLP remain involved in ongoing legal education, teaching, and contributing to the legal community as well as various other community groups and agencies.
